《Painkiller》是经典同名系列游戏的现代重塑版，拥有最多三人参与的在线合作模式和离线模式。你将在精致的哥特风地图中与海量的恶魔和怪物作战。

由于违背了天意，你被判罚到炼狱中。但是造物主的圣音给予你一个自我救赎的机会。你将扮演一名罪斗士，阻止堕落天使阿撒兹勒向地球派遣恶魔军团的计划。成千上万的敌人想消灭你，其中包括具有独特力量的恶魔，和阿撒兹勒的三个邪魔之子-奈菲林人。

释放痛苦——利用塔罗牌来提高你的能力，将其与其他玩家结合以消灭你的敌人。 

谨慎选择你的角色——在四个各具特色的角色：印客、虚无、索尔、罗克之中做出选择，利用各自的特性强化能量、生命值、力量和伤害。
